We’ll observe and create sketches of the signs of high summer, and learn essential watercolor skills that will allow you to celebrate the stunning natural beauty you will discover. Joni will provide a supportive and encouraging format especially designed to introduce watercolor “secrets of success” and core techniques.  This class is an introduction to OR a review of essential watercolor skills and applications, including seamless color washes, color mixing, the powerful effects of various brushstrokes, layering & glazing techniques, using resists, and more. You’ll experiment with a variety of papers (different colors and textures) and create several small paintings that incorporate essential watercolor skills.
