The start of a new year is a wonderful time to wake up and cultivate a strong, flexible body, and balanced heart – mind. Come immerse yourself in a joyous, deeply nurturing daylong retreat with lifelong, spiritual activist Lark Batteau.

The workshop will begin with a joy filled yoga class. It will be followed by Tibetan study and a meditation which cultivates Loving Kindness, Compassion, Empathetic Joy and Equanimity.

Enjoy a Japanese inspired lunch, followed by a brief Japanese Tea Ceremony: sweet-cake and Matcha. The Tea Ceremony is not so much about a beverage as it is about cultivating the ability to appreciate the beauty that exists in our temporal and ephemeral world.

In the afternoon there will be more Tibetan study and a “Giving and Receiving” meditation. This practice is designed to diminish craving & aversion, thus helping you to become a more bright and brave healing presence.

The workshop ends with another joy filled yoga class.

Workshop held in La Paz yoga room beneath the Terrace Rom at the Center for Spiritual Renewal

Registration is limited to the first 20 participants.

Lark Batteau has been a Certified Yoga Instructor since 1995, a Tibetan Buddhist practitioner since 1996, and a Japanese Tea Ceremony ‘Chanoyu’ since 1989.
