Combining writing and meditation provides a natural way to gain insight and wisdom as we learn to witness rather than simply react to our lives. The workshop provides a range of writing prompts and contemplations designed to help dissolve fixations which inhibit creativity, to enhance our emotional awareness, and to deepen the understanding of our minds and hearts.
Kimberley Snow, Ph.D., taught writing at UCSB and studied for six years in a Tibetan retreat center. Her latest book is Writing Yourself Awake.
