Program Leader
Kayleen Asbo

Awaken to a deeper level of presence and joy in your own life. In this rich experiential weekend you will be guided by: stories from the lives of two women mystics, Teresa of Avila and Julian of Norwich; the art of Vermeer and other Dutch masters; the poetry of Mary Oliver, David Whyte and others; and the nurturing rhythm of music. Contemplative practices of chanting and lectio divina, guided journaling, Celtic practices and a labyrinth ritual will offer portals for the numinous within the ordinary, a waking up to the beauty strewn abundantly around us.

Kayleen Asbo, Ph.D, is an acclaimed musician, cultural historian, spiritual director and retreat leader. She is on the faculty of the San Francisco Conservatory, UC Berkeley, Dominican and Sonoma State Universities.
