This month’s event topic is:

Healing the Heart through Mindfulness, Gratitude and Compassion

In this half-day retreat with Radhule Weininger and Michael Kearney we will explore together how coming into our hearts will bring us to a place of healing.

Mindfulness meditation will allow us to calm the mind so that our hearts can open. Gratitude meditation will bring us to a sense of fullness and connectedness and compassion meditation will allow us to feel with and include others in our care. As we give, we receive, and in our giving we will experience a strong loving heart.

Radhule Weininger, PhD, is a clinical psychologist/psychotherapist and guiding teacher of One Dharma Sangha. She has been studying Buddhist psychology and practice since 1980 and is mentored by Jack Kornfield. Her forthcoming book  Heartwork: Practicing Self-compassion will be coming out in summer 2017 with Shambala Publications.

Michael Kearney, MD, has worked in palliative care and hospice medicine for almost forty years.  He is author of two books, Mortally Wounded, and, A Place of Healing.  His forthcoming book is “The Nest in the Stream: How to be with our pain.
