Program Leader
Marilyn McEntyre

Please note: There are a limited number of spots remaining with lunch included for this day. If that option if no longer available below, then please register if you plan to come, but know that lunch may not be available. We will do a final lunch count in the morning based on number of actual attendees.

Also – if you plan to come please be sure to bring a journal or a hard writing surface as there will NOT be tables for this program.

This day will focus on the inner dimension of the writing life: hearing the inner voice, honoring intuition, and cultivating life-giving conversation with self, others, and the Spirit by working with words.  You will be invited to listen for what comes, receive it, reflect on it, and allow it to teach you something new about what to do with what you hear.  Experiential exercises for sustaining your writing as a spiritual practice will be offered throughout the day.

Marilyn McEntyre, Ph.D., teaches medical humanities in the UC Berkeley-UCSF Joint Medical Program, and is a fellow at the Gaede Institute for the Liberal Arts at Westmont College and a hospice volunteer.
