Friday 5/5/2017 - Sunday 5/7/2017
7:30 pm - 1:00 pm
Come explore the streams of mystical longing and social justice that are found in the ecstatic poetry of the mystics, and in sacred texts of the world’s great religions. Through contemplative silence, chanting, deep dialog, and writing, we will experience unifying teachings and heart-opening practices to carry us beyond an intellectual understanding of humanity’s many spiritual paths. This retreat will support us, as women, to be transformed by love at our common core, and empower us to make a difference in the world.
Mirabai Starr is author of Caravan of No Despair: A Memoir of Loss and Transformation, new translations of the Spanish mystics, John of the Cross and Teresa of Avila, and the award-winning book, God of Love: A Guide to the Heart of Judaism, Christianity & Islam. She leads contemplative interspiritual retreats worldwide.
