In 2005, we celebrated 50 years
of service to the community. In that same year La Casa returned
to the ownership of the Immaculate Heart Community which
founded it.
The Immaculate Heart Community welcomes the opportunity
to preserve and renew this beloved Santa Barbara sanctuary
and we invite you to come to this holy ground where people
of all faiths and diverse spiritual paths can seek and find
nourishment.
The mission of La Casa de
Maria is
to provide, through its programs and environment,
a nourishing place of peace
where persons of all faiths can search for truth,
engage in dialogue, experience personal growth,
realize their self worth, embrace the sacred,
then refreshed and renewed, participate more responsibly
in the creation of a just and peaceful world,
and a whole and healthful earth.
