About Us

La Casa de Maria is an interfaith retreat and conference center located in Santa Barbara, California, where you can:

  • Bring your spiritual community or nonprofit organization to hold a retreat, workshop, or conference
  • Attend a La Casa-sponsored program – an overnight residential retreat, a one-day workshop or retreat, or weekly spiritual practices
  • Renew your body, mind, and spirit with quiet, unstructured retreat time as an individual or with a friend.

outside-meetingsAt La Casa, you will find a beautiful, natural sanctuary of 26 semi-rural acres. We offer full-service retreat and conference packages for groups and individuals attending our programs.

  • 42 guest rooms for overnight accommodations
  • A variety of meeting rooms that hold from 10 to 140 people
  • A gracious dining room serving fresh, healthful meals buffet style with both inside and patio dining
  • Two chapels
  • A house of prayer for individual retreats with meals provided
  • Two dormitories with simple accommodations – one for 10 to 12 people and the other for 20 to 44 people. The larger dormitory is self-contained with full kitchen, dining facilities, and meeting room.
  • An organic orchard and kitchen garden

La Casa is a Place of Peace, where you will experience Presence and renew Purpose.
